These Lorpen extreme weather, high activity socks offer exceptional performance incorporating technical features made for hard riding in all weather conditions. These socks are made with Italian wool providing warmth in cold weather and a natural softness in contact with the skin. Lorpen adds a 5% lycra layer which provides exceptional elasticity and adaptability and allows socks to be used indiffferently on the left and right foot, thus achieving less wear, longer duration and better protection. Lycra fiber conserves its characteristics forever with no creases, no abrasion and no blisters! In addition, two outer layers of polymide are incorporated which provides strength, long-life and added protection.

Warm and soft, but not the warmestJan 23, 2011

very soft and comfortable. work really well for the warmer snow boarding days, but need to double up for those colder days.
downside. i have thicker calves, and the top of the sock clamps too tight for me, so i had to roll them down a bit. but its better that they are too tight than too loose.
overall. love the socks. 4 stars cause my toes were cold on some of the colder days (38-41). otherwise, super socks!
